INFORMATION
We’re really excited about this event. One of the key themes we’re focusing on and exploring at the Love Taupo Trail Festival is our mental health, or fitness. Our mental state is very much like our physical health or fitness, we can usually assess where we sit on the physical fitness scale, however, we don’t seem to be quite as good at making these honest assessments when it comes to the mental side of things, and how we actually feel - and why.

The idea and plan around this session is to bring together some very cool people in a panel-style event, whereby each of the panel will have a chance to tell their story, drilling down into those themes of the outdoors, and how bloody good for us it is to spend time outside, preferably in nature, and also their own views, thoughts and journeys in and around their own mental health/fitness.

The session is designed to be honest and inspired. Designed to bring the audience into the game, we’ll make sure that we get interactive from the outset.

We’re stoked to have Mark Richardson, Shoshannah Shand, Professor Grant Schofield, Mal Law and Jack Newman on the panel for the 2024 event
