This spot is going to be so awesome and will be open at all times the Hub festival site is open. We’re working with the super-cool Sarah from Stepping Stones, who has put together an amazing line-up of kid-focused activities and entertainment - with a focus on nature and the outdoors, of course.
Who doesn’t love to sit down and paint a nature-based rock. To be fair, us adults could probably do with a bit of that in our lives too!! Think outdoor games like giant jenga, connect 4, nature scavenger hunts, bubbles, nature clay play, make your own piwakawaka, creepy crawlies. And a massive festival piece of artwork to colour in over the three days!!!
Childcare
Separate to the Kids Zone, Sarah is running a childcare service so don’t let lack of childcare stop you from getting out on the trails!
Childcare is available for people who are participating in the Craters MTB event on Saturday or the Craters Run/Walk event on Sunday.
Our Child Carers will have activities for the children to participate in as well as having access to the Kids Activity Zone.
There are limited childcare spaces available and the cost is $17 an hour per child.
